Disaster Relief
“With much destruction comes much repentance”
Another element of “going after the ONE” is doing disaster relief. As members of the Disaster Relief team, we are the second responders and are committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus by offering disaster relief services to hurting communities when natural disasters strike.
All over the Southeast region, we partner with other local ministries and dispatch teams to nearly-destroyed towns and neighborhoods in the aftermath of tornadoes, hurricanes and floods. We come in and open up roads, cut and remove trees off houses, install tarps on damaged roofs, clear debris, hand out meals and hygiene supplies, pray with families who have lost so much, love on people, and provide hope through Jesus Christ. We are not just there to restore homes or a community, but to restore people back to God the Father.

Hurricane Idalia
Big Bend Region, Florida
We locked arms with 30 men from several other local ministries to bring much needed relief, hope, and the love of Jesus to this area after a powerful Category 4 caused significant damage.

EF2 Tornado
Selma, AL
We spent several days working in the hardest-hit and most poverty-stricken areas after an EF2 hit historic Selma. We focused on repairing and putting tarps on roofs before more rain came.

Mayfield, KY
Just weeks before Christmas, a violent EF4 ripped through western Kentucky, producing severe and catastrophic damage. We partnered with several other ministries and took a team of 15 to Mayfield.

Birmingham, AL
Just two months later, another EF3 tornado hit Birmingham directly. We removed several trees off homes and removed debris.

After a tornado with winds over 150 mile per hour winds tore through this small community outside of Birmingham, we sent a small team to cut trees and removed debris.

Gulf Coast
When a hurricane steamrolled our own community, bringing tornadoes and dumping 20 inches of rain in Baldwin County, we spent three months offering emergency help and clean up.

We traveled to Hammond & St Rose, Louisiana several times with partnering ministries to offer hope, deliver supplies, tree removal, and roof repair.

We traveled to Lake Charles, Louisiana with several partnering ministries to offer hope, relief, and tree removal after Hurricane Laura.

Dam Breach
Sanford & Midland, MI
I flew up to my home state of MI and joined “Sanford Strong” along with some friends and relatives to muck out homes flooded after the Edenville and Sanford dams collapsed.

Mexico Beach & Panama City, FL
We traveled the Florida panhandle several times, working to help rebuild Mexico Beach and Panama City, cities that suffered the worst of Hurricane Michael.

Our team of 20 took four vehicles and two trailers to help victims of Hurricane Florence that impacted the east coast.
