Operation Lost Sheep

In 2013, Jon walked through a season of restoration in his own life. In that season, he battled with a lot of shame and guilt from some poor decisions he made, but he also experienced first-hand the depths of God’s love and transforming power. Coming out of that, there was a stirring in his spirit to see other people’s lives changed by that same love, grace, and mercy that is available to all of us through Jesus.

In 2015, God gave him a vision to go outside the walls of the church on a rescue mission to bring back those who have strayed away. In November 2017, he went through Globe International’s candidate school to become a stateside missionary and in January 2018 Operation Lost Sheep was launched.

Hayley grew up in church all of her life but never experienced the love of her Heavenly Father. It wasn’t until 2017 that she found a church home and decided to go through a healing class that ministered to her deeply. This class touched on many wounds that she had experienced throughout her childhood years and brought restoration to areas she had no idea she needed.

The empty hole in her heart was finally filled with the love that only Jesus could give when she realized just how much He loved her. She rededicated her life to the Lord, and reconnected with her earthly father after 20 years of being disconnected due to his battle with drugs and alcohol, only to find out that he had been freed of addiction and given his life to Jesus!

In May 2018 Jon & Hayley were married. The words from Matthew 18:12 became their marching orders. At the very center of everything we do is helping to restore people back to God the Father. There are various reasons people stray away from the Lord, but regardless, He still loves us and desires for us to be restored back to Him.

Jesus never avoided the messy things, He actually surrounded Himself with it. We are no different. As stateside missionaries with Globe International, we are called to go into the highways and byways of America to rescue the prodigals and share this powerful truth.
